Catherine graduated from Hornsby Girls High School with an ATAR of 99.15. She received a Band 6 in all her subjects which included Advanced English, Extension Maths, Economics, Biology and Chemistry. Catherine also has strong leadership skills, having been Vice-Captain of her school and an executive member of the Student Representative Council. She has also completed her 8th Grade AMEB Piano exam and was the winner of the best delegate award at the Macquarie University ‘United Nations Women’s Day’ event in 2018. Catherine is passionate about empowering students to improve their confidence and achieve their academic goals.
Joshua is currently in his third year at UNSW studying Economics and Mathematics. He graduated from North Sydney Boys High School in 2017 with an ATAR of 99.90 and a state rank in German Extension. At UNSW, Joshua works as a Peer Assisted Study Leader for first- and second-year Economics students, and is the Events Director of a social running club. With over four years’ experience in private tuition, he recognises the uniqueness of each student’s learning style. He strives to keep his students interested in every session, and leave knowing more than what they came in with.
English, Maths, Physics
Jacob graduated from The King’s School in 2018 with the school’s highest award for academics. This earned him the HSC All Rounder award and an ATAR of 98.6. He prides himself on his hard-working, ‘practice makes perfect’ approach to learning as well as his ability to connect on more than just an academic level with his students in order to discover the best ways in which to help them – a quality that isn’t always common highly academic tutors. Jacob currently attends Sydney University completing a Bachelor of pre-Honours Economics with a minor in Physics.
Jessica graduated from Abbotsleigh with an ATAR of 99.6 and is currently studying a Bachelor of Arts/Law at the University of Sydney. She received a mark of 49/50 for the HSC in English Extension 2 and a mark of 97 in English Advanced. These results reflect her strong skills in analysis and written expression. Jessica also has strong leadership experience having been Vice Head Prefect at Abbotsleigh in Yr 12.
